Depth of Field is when you take up close pictures that put emphasis on the object and blur the background. You have to have the correct aperture and iso to take these kinds of pics.
This is a great way to get involved in your school agenda and whatnot. It gives everyone a chance to express themselves and show their creations(and maybe even win a prize). Everyone feels like they're a part of something and everyone wins in the end.
-I will be out taking pictures of the assigned projects in the courtyard by the lunch lines
-I WONT MESS AROUND/THROW THE CAMERA/HIT PEOPLE WITH IT -I will take very good care of the camera as if it were my child -ill be in the field/courtyard taking close up pics of things This picture was taken by yours truly. The cool colors in the background really put emphasis on the trees and their branches. The main focus of the picture it the first tree; it is the most emphasized because of the position of the sun right behind it. There is an insignificant building in the corner, but in a way it kind of makes the picture more complete to me.
This picture shows two elephants wandering in the misty jungle. There are warm colors in this image, as well as cool colors. The vibrant green grass is a depiction of warm color because of how bright it is. The fog sort of has a blue tint to it, making it a more calm color and it also blurs the trees in the back making them in to silhouettes. The focus point of this image is the first elephant because of how its positioning makes it look larger than the second.
This photo depicts a newborn baby getting his heartbeat checked. It somewhat shows the element of proportion showing how the baby is tiny compared to the man's hand. Also adding to that, the tape measure in the left hand corner shows how small it really is. His facial expression gives the picture a positive feeling because he looks happy even though it's probably just because the stethoscope is cold. This photograph represents the element of silhouette. The image captures 6 soldiers on a hill probably after combat. The light in the back perfectly defines the soldiers' figures and guns. Apart from being an element of photography, this is a very powerful image that symbolizes triumph and victory for these men. Their poses are also very interesting because each one is in a very different, yet similar stance.
In this photograph, Ansel Adams uses elements such as line, contrast, and texture to create an image that really speaks to its viewer. The lines create a vanishing point that leads to the beautiful mountain background. The bushes in this picture have great texture, making the image “pop.” Contrast in the plants created by lighting makes a somewhat natural gradient and makes some of the workers appear darker, also creating a silhouette. Although it may seem irrelevant, the icy tips of mountains, in my opinion, show the true beauty of nature. Overall, this image captures the hard work or people working out in the fields in a lovely, creative way.
